Anne is Co-Founder and Director of Design Science, which she established in 2011 with three other partners.
Anne has over 15 years’ teaching experience, including Visiting Lecturer at the Royal College of Art, Central Saint Martins and Camberwell College of Arts in London, and Konstfack University in Stockholm.
Anne graduated with a First Class degree in Typography & Graphic Communication from the University of Reading in 1996. She was employed as an editorial designer in London for five years before setting up O-SB Design. O-SB works within the arts, culture and education for clients such as Tate, Royal Academy of Arts and The British Museum.
Anne is author of The New Handmade Graphics (RotoVision 2003), a book about graphic designers mixing analogue with digital processes or materials as a way of removing or reducing their dependence on the computer. She has also written for Eye magazine, Phaidon, Cheltenham Science Festival, the Wellcome Trust, the British Science Association and the British Council.
